Delete an account
Pathfinder Chronicles
A Pathfinder Chronicles account, and everything the game keeps with it, can be deleted at any time. It takes about a minute and cannot be undone.
In the game
- Open Pathfinder Chronicles, in the app or at the game's website, and join with the nickname and PIN.
- Open the menu (☰) and choose Delete my account.
- Choose Delete it…, type the PIN, and choose Delete forever.
The game then says the account has been deleted. Any other phone, tablet or computer signed in to it is signed out at the same moment.
If you cannot sign in
Nobody can look a PIN up, because the game does not keep it. If the PIN is forgotten, or the game is no longer installed, write to us with the account's nickname and we will delete it:

We may ask a question or two first, to be sure the request comes from the player or their parent, so say how we can reply.
What is deleted
Everything the game keeps about the player: the nickname, the scrambled PIN, the character's look, badges, quests, coins, things bought, race times, fish caught, match results, choices made in the story, letters opened, the map explored, votes, ideas typed into "Have your say", and every sign-in. The nickname is free for anybody to take again straight away.
What remains
- The record of a team match that was played keeps a number that once stood for the player, with no nickname and nothing else attached. It cannot be traced back to anyone.
- If the player was in a match when the account was deleted, their nickname can stay on that match's scoreboard for up to ten minutes.
- The hosting company's backups of the game's data are kept for up to 30 days and then gone.
- Ideas already read by the people who make the game may have been copied into their notes.
